R33 Brakes.... Finally.......................................

So after 4 months or so of fitting and taking off, fitting and taking off, finally it seems we have come to fluition in this regard...  Im not really going to get into it...  hahah, but yes, this has been a process. Having promised myself i would buy off the shelf parts for this car is seems it doesnt happen that way....  Custom always seems to creep in and why not...  We build one off things which suit specific needs therefore warrant attention in specific areas....  This car is no different and the art of customising to suit will continue i guess...

From brackets to bolts, this brake set up looks awesome and seems to make the wheels "pop" even more...  Aesthetics why not, but this is all business for sure...  The times will tell...  Looking for a second and more was our initial goal, couple more chassis items and we should be on our way to a  1.09 for a full street trim car,,... aircon and all....

After having many issues with the custom studs, we finally managed to get the car right enough to head dwon to the track....  The idea just to check if everything is working well enough and all holds together...  We went out first just warming up everything, tyres included... coming in after 2 laps to check wheel nuts and so on....  All seemed good and even though nothing had really happened, i was happy already...  I could feel the brakes had good responce and the harder you hit them the more they came to life....  I was eager to get out there an try see if the car was getting better....

After 2 more laps of around 1.12's and being easy on the braking the car was way better for sure... Seems we were "effortlessly" caught on the straight but not so much in the turns...  this all by the local yocal car god.... If only i could get to use his stop watch to time me...  sure id be running like 1.03...  hahahah...

Anyway...  all in all the day was fun, we tested and ran a 1.10 with ease...  Not that hard on the brakes there is still lots of time in them....  Next track is for that though, and with some proper rubber 9's should be all together easy.....

Will keep u posted...  otherwise check on other forums for the watered down version of Godzilla (the stock power 33)
