SO..... the weekend ended up being a strange one to say the least with words to and from the unexpected and happenings allowing the frame of mind to alter into a more relaxed "situation"... what do i mean.. Welllllllllll, lets just say that some track time goes along way... Saturday morning i was up at half 4 getting ready to do a bicycle race.. Got down there and half way in a thought to myself if i leave now i just might be able to make it to Scribante and get in some long overdue laps.... I pulled out loaded the bike up and quickly packed the tools, meth and helmet... When past Neptune tyres for some last minute check ups and off i went... Got there after practice which was fine.. Thanks to Sparky and them for letting me enter late...
Anyway, the day was cool and i had fun.. Heat and Humidity seemed to play a part in the times as the best we got was a high 11.. weird as i was hoping for consistant 10's but anyway, everyone seemed to be off pace apparently... Car was fine with some issues in the first heat.. Close racing towards the end of the handicaped heats got really heated and close meaning......... Fun.... Enjoy every minute but i learnt one thing.. I need a roll cage.. reason is that i cant run the regional class with out it which means the competition is lacking... Hopefully this is all sorted out by the next one so i will have a lot more to report back...
Other than that, it was a good day had by all im sure.. Next event is the 18th Feb.. If you in the area, try make a turn....
