So last week received the diff back assembled properly.... So we put it in ASAP so we could get the V2 on the ground.... We just put the work wheels on to see clearance... I knew the backs wouldnt go on yet and i havent fitted any tyres either.... I put a front on the rear just to see the look.... 11j rear would have been fine... I know i went over kill but there must be no confusion..... This is how it sat... The rear had to go down another 30mm but to clear these wheels with stock fenders... we just wanted to get an idea....
This car is awesome... really happy with the results so far.... Lots of work to so still... Exterior to be completed first.. being the rear fenders and the front arches... lights bumpers and all that... Im busy with the Interior dash panels and so on... The motor and box....... ya.... thats another story in it self... Gone back to undecided there so we shall see whats on the cards... Need to make a decision this week hopefully...
The front fender is just fit loosly so the wheels can turn... going to have to flare them a bit to.. but probably just space them and make them adjustable to fit different wheels and offsets... You can see in this pic above the rear needed to go down a little, but the tyres were touching already.... We got our work cut out for us here... Checking out the best aesthetic options...
Looking more like a car though... keen for the bumpers on next and lights in .... suppose i have to get some lexan too for the windows...
