So with the engine bay doen it was time to move onto the next step.... interior.... I stitched up all the remaining areas i hadnt, put some etch primer on all the seams and started preping for MS.... the car originally had stone chip done in the rear end, hence the sanding out of that whole area.... i want a more smooth finish so ya... more elbow grease i guess....
Got some base MS in there... as you can see the cage isnt done... not to many scratches there as most of it was covered... i let the MS dry out and gave the cage a light flat... My plan at the time was simple... to get the best finish i was going to paint the cage first... this way i could get the clear coat in all the right places... and when ready to do the rest, just mask it up.... i recon thats the best way given this scenario... otherwise you just get dual spots all over....
first step seemed to work really well... happy with this result so far.... and the car is actually getting somewhere relatively quickly.... thank goodness...
