So as i said.... i masked up the cage so i wouldnt have over spray issues.... then the crap part started... sanding and more sanding.... it was almost impossible to get some sort of smooth finish going on this car... firstly its been painted before and as i said with stone chip... the car has also been racing for the last 10 years of its life so the interior needed lots of work anyway... so yea.. the base for working wasnt that great but i think it nice to have it headed - " back on track ", excuse the pun....
After flating comes paint and clear.... i wasnt initially happy with the result but its getting there.... its clean and neat with no marks or scratches... the colour is perfect for interior.. i liked the green pearl colour that was in there... so ill be putting some hints of it back.... lots to do and measure up still... solving the cage stories next.... assemble...............
